Doing a creative shoot at The June Motel was one of the highlights of 2019 for me. Though the day was anticipated to be clear and sunny, it ended up snowing 6 inches, creating a stunning backdrop for our models Kelly and Brandon who were more than happy to brave the outdoors. The vendors involved in this styled shoot were intentionally selected to fit the June Motel’s hip-retro “rose all day” vibe and they nailed every detail. The florals designed by Rachel of Vintage and Bloem were bright, fun and funky which fit with the aesthetic perfectly. The June truly lends itself to the light and airy editing style Destiny Dawn uses, making what was already a gorgeous location turn out even more so in photos. Courtney of Peach and Poppy showcased Kelly’s natural beauty perfectly, while Elizah of There She Glows Hair matched the easy going, high-class boho look we wanted to achieve. And THE DRESS! That Rue De Seine from Lovers Land bridal shop in Toronto was a boho show stopper that no one could stop talking about!
